First Impressions

We have quickly found out how much everyone adores children. Sarah especially is enjoying being picked up frequently by perfect strangers as we go to church, weddings and work. Caleb and Joshua are not as fond of the constant cheek pulling. With adorable faces like these who wouldn't want to pull their cheeks.

Journey Around the World

Well, our first week was full of plenty of activities. As you already know we survived the 24 hours of plane travel including delays and layovers. We arrived to our home in Bangalore. It is a nice 4 bed/4 bath home or villa as they call them here. It came equipped with a local gardner named Thimmaya. We are still working on a maid and should have that resolved this week.

We did some baby-proofing this week. We bought plastic plates, bowls and cups; purchased a high-chair and wrapped a volleyball net around the stair rail. According to Joshua and Caleb, the stairs now look like something off a pirate ship. Arrghh!!! Mate!

Our other activities included shopping and visiting the club house. Johanna is realizing I wasn't kidding about my chaotic description of traffic in Bangalore. I told her just close your eyes, her gasps and "eeks" are throwing the driver off his rhythm.
